Job summary

US Foods is seeking a pricing specialist to execute the local pricing strategy at the Albany Clifton Park or Watertown DCs. You will manage DSBC, analyze margin opportunities, and support bids for local customers in partnership with the Strategic Pricing Manager.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years pricing experience, strong Excel/Office skills, and the ability to work on-site daily. Insurance and retirement benefits are typical for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or minimum 3 years pricing experience required.
• Pricing experience within foodservice or food manufacturing highly desired.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills required.

Responsibilities

• Review and manage price deviations and exceptions for Territory Managers aligned to DC.
• Evaluate requests for commission-based adjustments, self-funded deviations, and price approvals.
• Answer pricing queries escalated from Sales and other USF employees for the DC.
• Analyze and develop pricing recommendations to support bids for local customers.
• Manage area DSBC reporting to improve area margins and resolve costing errors.
• Execute weekly promotional pricing in the designated DC.
• Monitor margin and market pricing; audit local self-funded deviations with DSMs.
