Platformparts is seeking a Pricing Analyst to price our catalogue of around 450,000 SKUs, acting as the bridge between Sales and Purchase and directly impacting profitability.
You will analyze cost and market data, run SQL queries, maintain Power BI dashboards, prepare pricing input for deals, and help shape a transparent pricing philosophy as we transition to Dynamics 365. The role offers highly flexible hours with up to 1 day of remote work per week.
Pricing is not just a number. It is the difference between a healthy margin and a missed opportunity. Can you tell them apart?
We supply spare parts for aerial work platforms to a global B2B market, and all of our roughly 450,000 SKUs need a price that is accurate, fair and transparent. As our Pricing Analyst, you act as the bridge between Sales and Purchase, maintaining a close collaboration with our management while having a direct impact on our profitability.
Analyse cost and market data to set the right sales price for every product in our catalogue of around 450,000 SKUs and continuously fine‑tune pricing to protect our margin.
Investigate margin performance through SQL queries, spotting the items that put pressure on our margins and making sure they get updated.
Prepare pricing input for customer deals, using data to land on margins that work for both the customer and the business.
Help shape our new pricing philosophy, built on consistency, fairness and transparency, and support our transition toward Dynamics 365.
Maintain and further develop our Power BI dashboards, giving our sales team the tools they need to make faster, better informed decisions.
Follow up on expiring fixed prices for key customers and proactively report to Sales so that they can renegotiate.
Process new supplier prices into our ERP system, ensuring that our catalogue stays up to date.
At least 2 to 3 years of experience in pricing, purchasing or sales analysis, ideally in a B2B environment.
A bachelor’s degree, preferably in an analytical or business‑oriented field.
Strong, advanced Excel skills, and experience with macros or automation is a big plus.
You can write your own SQL queries to pull price, customer or product data from our database.
You either already know your way around Power BI, or you are eager to learn it. Both work for us.
You have a sharp eye for detail and a very analytical mindset.
Fluent in English and Dutch. Other languages are considered an asset.
The chance to help build a pricing role from the ground up as the company expands internationally.
Highly flexible working hours that give you room to organise your day around your life, not the other way around.
A focus on your wellbeing: a bike lease plan, free fruit at the office and ergonomic office furniture.
Up to 1 day of remote work per week, once you are fully up to speed.
