Position Summary

The LTL Pricing Analyst is responsible for continual analysis of our customer base to ensure competitive pricing, as well as designing and developing systems to improve business operations. The LTL Pricing Analyst interacts with Sales, Solutions, Account Management, Carriers, and Executive teams regularly. This individual serves a critical role in identifying cost savings to our customers and profitability of our company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Responsible for the RFP process by:
    • Extracting representative customer data from our database
    • Recommending requested pricing structure and potential carriers
    • Constructing the formal RFP document
    • Loading and analyzing the RFP responses
    • Recommending programs to accept and implement based on analysis
    • Analyzing and negotiating optimal mark-up and margins for all parties
  • Maintains a pre and post RFP tracker
  • Carrier account review analysis to assist with negotiations
  • Analysis of customer carrier portfolios
  • Works to resolve carrier issues
  • Enters pricing agreements and data into system to create accurate ratings
  • Collaborate with colleagues to assess requirements to identify opportunities for process optimization through automation and use of AI tools
  • Implement newly developed automation solutions and conduct training for all relevant personnel
  • Other administrative duties as assigned

Minimum Education and Experience
