Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Business Management Analyst - Pricing and Estimating for our San Diego, CA location. The role supports pricing for proposals, coordinating with multiple teams to develop estimating strategies and ensure regulatory compliance.

You will analyze pricing sources, prepare material price analyses, and assist with audits and negotiations, contributing to compliant, competitive bids in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Accounting, Economics, Finance, Management, Marketing, etc.) with a minimum of 2 years of financial work experience.
  • Basic understanding of Government Compliance.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, chart generation, VBA macros, etc.). US citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

  • Support pricing activity for proposal submittals by understanding customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with proposal technical teams to develop the material estimating strategy and interface with various departments.
  • Select pricing methods for each item included in proposals and ensure FAR/DFAR compliance.
  • Prepare material price analyses to support decision-making for business units and leaders.
  • Assist with fact-finding, government audits, customer negotiations, and certifications, ensuring TINA compliance.

Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
