Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an RFQ Pricing Analyst in the United States to coordinate, analyze, and execute RFQ pricing strategies. You will support sales with data-driven decisions, manage bid responses, and ensure pricing integrity across multiple deadlines.

The role requires freight pricing expertise, strong communication, and proficiency in MS Office. Collaborate with pricing and field teams to keep rates competitive while maintaining documentation and policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Ground and domestic freight knowledge with understanding of pricing, processes and operations.
• 2+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects, working well under pressure.
• Graduate or actively involved in relevant studies.
• Effective interpersonal skills, including listening, comprehension, and clear communication to achieve results.
• Pro-active, strong organizational skills, detail oriented.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Advanced computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). -LTL or Tucking logistics pricing experience

Responsibilities

• RFQ Coordination: Communicate with sales and build strategy, analyze data, identify opportunities and meet deadlines for pricing requests.
• RFQ Execution: Convert customer formats, insert pricing, communicate to field, manage responses, and maintain documentation.
• Analysis of Rates: Review carrier rates and feedback, report results to Transcon Manager, keep rates competitive.
• Rate & Surcharge Maintenance: Maintain rate databases and GRIs, flag expiring agreements.
• General Support: Provide pricing support for sales and product pricing as needed by Transcon Manager.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

RFQ Coordination

• Communicate with sales and build strategy.
• Perform data analysis.
• Identify opportunities and challenges
• Manage the product pricing for RFQs (Request for Quotes).
• Manage and meet deadlines set by customers and sales/geo on responding to pricing requests.
• Work with pricing manger / sales/geo staff to properly qualify bids.
• Track and report the results of RFQs.

RFQ Execution

• Convert customer formats.
• Insert / integrate targeted pricing.
• Communicate to the field.
• Manage responses.
• Audit responses and make cohesive.
• Maintain communication per Document Retention Policy (DRP).
• Update RFQ capture in a timely manner.
• Maintain RFQ/Pricing tools.

Analysis of Rates

• Review and analyze carrier rates.
• Review feedback from sales/geo on rate competitiveness.
• Report results of analysis to Transcon Manager.
• Work with carriers to keep rates fresh and competitive.

Rate & Surcharge Maintenance

• Maintain rate databases.
• Maintain and distribute General Rate Increase (GRI) and surcharge information.
• Maintain diary system to flag expiring rate agreements and contracts.

General Support

• Provide general support for sales and product pricing.
• Provide other general pricing support as specified by Transcon Manager.
