Job summary

Transatlantic Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Associate Actuary to join the Pricing team in New York City. This role involves working closely with Underwriting teams to evaluate deals and provide insights into decision-making processes.

The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of actuarial pricing experience in the P&C industry, preferably with a focus on reinsurance. TransRe offers a hybrid work schedule along with a competitive salary range between $165,000 and $200,000 annually.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in actuarial pricing in the P&C insurance or reinsurance industry.
• Reinsurance experience strongly preferred.
• ACAS or FCAS designation is required.

Responsibilities

• Pricing reinsurance treaties & certificates.
• Conducting annual profitability studies.
• Supporting ad-hoc actuarial projects.
