Job summary

Kroger in Rochester Hills, MI is seeking a diligent stock clerk to maintain pricing documentation accuracy and ensure UPC and price file integrity in-store. You will support daily operations, handle shelf labeling, and assist customers and associates with friendly, professional service.

Responsibilities include maintaining the UPC and PLU files, testing scans, keeping retail accounting records, and complying with dress code, sanitation, and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to be prompt, tactful, calm, courteous, and professional in all interactions.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Must be able to read shelf tags, signs, product labels, training materials, bulletins, etc.
• Available and able to perform stock clerk duties and customer service duties as scheduled or assigned.

Responsibilities

• Maintain pricing documentation accuracy in the store.
• Maintain store UPC File (price change, deletion, new items)
• Check in and test scan all vendors
• Maintain weekly ad item in scanning file
• Housekeeping in computer room, including filters and power backup checks
• Copy PLU File twice a week
• Maintain documentation on all retail accounting
• Test scan entire store every 6–8 weeks
• Maintain Special Report File (A.C. Nielsen, Sami, Special Item Movement Report)
• Perform other duties as assigned by store manager and scanning supervisors
• Adhere to company policies & procedures: dress code, grooming, sanitation, and harassment/discrimination policies
• Maintain flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, nights; weekends and holidays as needed
• Effectively communicate with customers and associates
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
