Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a hybrid Price Controller (NAM) based in the U.S. at Nashville, TN, Carrollton, TX, or Boston, MA.

The role owns end-to-end monthly Delta Price reporting across 12 NAM entities, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery with actuals versus forecast and prior periods. Collaborate with Corporate Finance, Price Strategy, and Global Supply Chain to align guidelines, forecast by division/product family, and incorporate tariffs and RMIs into pricing analyses.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.
  • 6–10 years of progressive experience in Pricing Finance or Analytics, FP&A, or related roles.
  • Experience supporting large, multi-entity organizations and pricing programs, rebates, tariffs, and revenue adjustments.
  • Strong data analytics capabilities with Excel and Tableau.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end monthly Delta Price performance reporting for 12 NAM entities with actuals vs forecast and prior period.
  • Provide commentary on price waterfall changes to support management decision–making.
  • Partner with Corporate Finance to align with pricing guidelines and reporting standards.
  • Collaborate with Price Strategy to maintain rolling forecasts by Division and Product Family.
  • Monitor tariffs and raw material increases, assess risks, and recoveries.
  • Work with Data team to ensure pricing data integrity and flag exclusions.
  • Partner with Global Supply Chain to incorporate cost updates into pricing analyses.
  • Support QBR prep for Pricing with executive storytelling.

Job description

Schneider Electric has a hybrid opportunity for a Price Controller (NAM) to be based in one of the following Schneider Electric Hub Locations: Nashville, TN, Carrollton, TX or Boston, MA.

As a Price Controller, you will:

  • Own end-to-end monthly Delta Price performance reporting (12 entities within NAM), including actuals versus forecast and prior period, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery
  • Provide clear, actionable commentary on and price waterfall changes (gross-to-net, rebates, credits, programs) for monthly price variances identifying key drivers as timing, product and customer mix, pricing actions, and specific product impacts to support management decision–making
  • Partner closely with the Corporate Finance team to ensure alignment with the latest pricing guidelines, methodologies, and reporting standards
  • Collaborate with the Price Strategy team to develop and maintain a Rolling Forecast by Division and Product Family, with monthly granularity
  • Monitor and analyze price coverage related to Tariffs and Raw Material Increases (RMI), assessing gaps, risks, and recovery effectiveness
  • Work with the Data team to ensure pricing data integrity, proactively identifying data issues, and ensuring appropriate exclusions are flagged, validated, and removed.
  • Partner with Global Supply Chain (GSC) to incorporate the latest cost updates for Tariffs and RMIs into pricing analysis and forecasts
  • Partner with Price Analytics team to model the financial impact of existing and future price initiatives, incorporating lead times, realization rates, customer implementation timing, and volume sensitivities
  • Support Quarterly Business Review (QBR) preparation for Pricing, contributing to executive-level storytelling, insights, and performance narratives.
  • Partner with Divisional controllers to align on price forecasts and actual submission
  • Partner with Accounting, FP&A, and Commercial Finance teams on the proper treatment, allocation, and reporting of financial adjustments (rebate accruals, revenue cutoff, etc).
  • Partner with Finance Transformation team for next evolution of DP Reporting sources.
Job Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field
  • Experience: 6–10 years of progressive experience in:
    • Pricing Finance or Analytics, Commercial or Business Finance, FP&A
    • Experience supporting large, multi-entity organizations
    • Experience working with pricing programs, rebates, discounts, credits, tariffs, and revenue adjustments
    • Business Partnering & Communication
    • Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with: Pricing organization, corporate Finance, FP&A, Divisional Controllers
    • Comfortable presenting findings to senior management and delivering executive level presentations
    • Ability to influence without direct authority
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Analytics, Systems & Tools:
    • Translate complex pricing data into actionable business insights
    • Model financial impacts of pricing initiatives
    • Strong data analytics capabilities with Excel and Tableau

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 117,600 - USD 176,400 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
