U-Haul is seeking a Preventive Maintenance Technician to keep our latest fleet in top condition. You will perform preventive maintenance on Ford and GMC trucks and gain exposure to a range of up-to-date equipment with hands-on training.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and reliability. You will work on-site at our Pennsylvania facility, with potential for ongoing career growth and a structured training program through Ford, GMC, and U-Haul.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude required for hands-on maintenance.
• Driver’s license required to operate company vehicles.
• Ability to work in a team as well as independently.
• Basic computer skills for electronic checklists and records.
• Regular attendance and reliable schedule.

Responsibilities

• Secure trucks on lifts and ramps.
• Lubricate suspensions, perform oil changes and replace minor parts.
• Perform tire and brake maintenance.
• Occasionally road-test vehicles.
• Use a proprietary electronic pre-inspection checklist.
• Assist in other areas as needed under supervisor guidance.
