Job summary

U-Haul in Coralville, IA is seeking a preventive maintenance technician to service Ford and GMC trucks. You will secure trucks on lifts, lubricate suspensions, perform oil changes, tire and brake maintenance, and occasionally road-test vehicles using our electronic pre-inspection checklist.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude is preferred.
• Driver’s license required.
• Ability to work as part of a team and also individually.
• Regular attendance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Secure trucks on lifts and ramps.
• Lubricate suspensions, perform oil changes and replace minor parts.
• Perform tire and brake maintenance.
• Occasionally road-test vehicles.
• Use a proprietary electronic pre-inspection checklist.
