U-Haul is seeking a Preventive Maintenance Technician to service Ford and GMC trucks and keep our fleet in top condition for customers. You’ll gain hands-on experience and participate in our Technician Training Program using Ford, GMC, and U-Haul curricula.

Tools are provided, and you’ll learn from long-time teammates in a family atmosphere. We offer growth opportunities, wellness benefits, and a comprehensive benefits package, along with paid holidays, vacation, and sick days where eligible.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude.
• Driver’s license required.
• Able to work in a team and independently.
• Basic computer skills are required.

Responsabilités

• Secure trucks on lifts and ramps.
• Lubricate suspensions, perform oil changes and replace minor parts.
• Perform tire and brake maintenance.
• Occasionally road-test vehicles.
• Use a proprietary electronic pre-inspection checklist.
• Willing to assist in additional areas as directed by supervisor.
