Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• At least 1 year of experience in machine repair in maintenance.
• Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, control technology, and welding.
• Knowledge of safe equipment practices and applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
• Demonstrated knowledge of hazardous waste and hazardous material handling procedures.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment, tools, and buildings.
• Assist in repair of woodworking machinery, infeed/outfeed systems, hand tools, and forklifts per manuals and specs.
• Order supplies and parts as needed.
• Maintain records of repairs and maintenance activities.
• Follow safety rules and keep a clean, organized work area.
• Participate in safety, CI, and program meetings.
