Smith & Wesson is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing facility. This role focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and keeping CNC and related equipment in top condition.
You will perform fluid changes, filter changes, align with safety protocols, and document maintenance activities. Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with diverse teams are essential; long shifts/overtime may be required.
Complete all company mandated training as required Participate in and follow all company initiatives Must successfully complete all technical, administrative, and interpersonal training programs to satisfy Participative Work Team objectives and become a multi-skilled team member
Continuous: standing, walking, lifting, bending, pushing/pulling, and reaching. Occasional: kneeling, sitting, squatting, overhead work, fine and gross upper body motor movement Maximum lift: to 50 pounds and assisted lifting Occasional lifting: 0 to 50 pounds

Work environment is similar to most manufacturing operations. Will be exposed to excessive noise, temperatures, hazards associated with moving around machinery, work in confined quarters, exposed to vibrations and shop lighting
