Job summary

Cherokee County School District is seeking a Preventive Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems across district facilities. The role requires a high school diploma, three years of HVAC repair experience, and relevant certifications. Teamwork and the ability to pass a TB screen are essential for this position.

The role is for a 12-month contract with a salary grade 4 maintenance scale, reporting to the Director of Maintenance. Open until filled.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1. HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA REQUIRED
• 2. THREE YEARS SUCCESSSFUL EXPERIENCE REPAIRING HVAC SYSTEMS
• 3. ASE REFRIGERANT RECOVERY & RECYCLING REVIEW CERTIFICATION
• 4. WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF WINDOWS AND OTHER NETWORK APPLICATIONS
• 5. ABILITY TO WORK WELL IN A TEAM ENVIROMENT
• 6. MUST PASS BACKGROUND CHECK AND TB SCREENING MUST BE SUBMITTED PRIOR TO START DATE
