Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management in Osage Beach is seeking a full-time Preventative Maintenance Engineer at the Margaritaville resort. You will ensure the resort is safe, functional, and well-maintained through routine tasks. Responsibilities include maintaining guest areas and responding promptly to guest requests.

The ideal candidate should have a Missouri Class E driver’s license, comprehensive English communication skills, and be able to handle physical demands of the job.

Qualifications

Pay: $16.50 per hour

Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age

Reports to: Chief Engineer, Engineering Department

Must have a Class E Driver’s License

Job Summary

As a Preventative Maintenance Engineer, you will perform a variety of routine tasks to help ensure the resort remains safe, functional, and well‑maintained at all times. You may often be working in guest areas, so a professional and thorough work ethic is required. Typical schedule will be Mon – Fri 8:00 – 4:30, but could include weekends on occasion.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintaining hotel guest rooms, meeting space, public/back of house areas, performing minor and routine maintenance activities as assigned on a routine checklist.
• Maintain standards of quality guest service.
• Scrupulously adhere to all safety standards.
• Increase level of guest satisfaction by delivery of an exceptional product through employee development.
• Promptly respond to and resolve guest requests, complaints, or questions in a courteous and timely manner.
• Assist in logging and tracking all performed maintenance assignments with supervisors.

• Comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.
• Ability to accurately report information.
