Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene Program.
• State of California license to practice as a Registered Dental Hygienist.
• One year experience in private or clinical practice.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and set up trays.
• Welcome and seat patients for hygiene procedures.
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene and prevention.
• Maintain and sharpen dental hygiene instruments.
• Perform dental prophylaxis and remove deposits/stains.
• Conduct periodontal screening and radiographs as allowed.
• Administer fluoride treatments and sealants.
• Chart patient histories and vitals in records.
• Assist dentists in treatment planning and appointments.
• Adhere to infection control procedures and safety protocols.
• Support patient flow and maintain a clean operatory.
