Job summary

Davisstreet is expanding its dental team in California and seeks a Registered Dental Hygienist to promote oral health, perform charting, and manage radiographs. The ideal candidate will have California RDH licensure, 3–5 years of comprehensive hygiene experience, and strong communication skills to work with diverse patients and staff.

Responsibilities include patient care, charting, and using electronic health records, with a focus on accuracy, tissue health, and preventive education.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• RDH license active in California with clean disciplinary record.
• Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene school and passing written and clinical exams.
• 3–5 years of experience in all aspects of dental hygiene: patient care, procedures, equipment maintenance.
• California Radiation Safety certification and CPR/BLS certifications.

• Take diagnostic digital radiographs with wall-mounted or hand-held units.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• RDH must have completed an education program from an accredited dental hygiene school and pass written and clinical examinations
• This position requires 3-5 years of experience practicing in all aspects of dental hygiene, including but not limited to patient care, dental hygiene procedures and basic equipment maintenance.
• RDH must have completed an education program from an accredited dental hygiene school and pass written and clinical examinations ·
• Applicant must have a valid and active license to practice dental hygiene in California. Licensee must have a clean history and be free of any disciplinary action
• RDH must comply with the Dental Practice Act California Code of Regulations Section 1017 for continuing education, for each renewal period, 25 hours of continuing education, including 2 hours of Infection Control, 2 hours of California Dental Law, and Basic Life Support and CPR
• California License as a Registered Dental Hygienist
• Radiation safety certificate
• Current CPR, BLS, and First Aid
• Participation in outreach, including but not limited to our annual Health Fair
