Job summary

Danville-Pittsylvania Community Services seeks a Prevention Specialist to implement prevention programs for youth, parents, and families under the supervision of the Prevention Program Manager. Programs run in community, office, faith-based, corrections, and school settings.

You will participate in community tabling events, work with partners, and deliver public presentations to address local prevention needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree required.
• At least one year of related work experience with youth and/or families.
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record required.
• Fingerprints, state and FBI checks, drug test and CANIS report may be requested; agency maintains a drug-free workplace.

Minimum Requirements

• M1: Bachelors degree

ANNUAL SALARY RANGE

$41,814 - $72,347
