Job summary

The Army National Guard Units seeks a Primary Prevention Specialist (PREV WF) at GS-0101-11 to lead harm and abuse prevention programs and coordinate activities as the Brigade/Region IPP SME. This role focuses on prevention programming, inter-agency collaboration, and community partnerships.

You will recruit and train volunteers, develop trainings and campaigns, and oversee healthy climate initiatives within the Brigade/Region while coordinating with local agencies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the point of contact for harm and abuse prevention programs; coordinates and acts as SME for the Brigade/Region IPP program.
• Promotes prevention efforts through advisory committees, boards and working groups; develops healthy climate, resiliency and risk reduction activities.
• Recruit, train and facilitate military volunteers for prevention activity implementation.
