Job summary

Center For Family Services, Inc. is seeking a Prevention Consultant to lead training and community initiatives across Warren, NJ and neighboring counties.

The role includes collaboration with districts and providers, travel across counties, and occasional hybrid/remote work two days per week based on program needs. The position entails developing presentations, facilitating workshops, and contributing to data collection and quality improvement efforts for our target populations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services related field; substitutions allowed with additional experience as indicated.
• Minimum three years' experience in non-profit, social service environments in development or implementation of community-based services or prevention programs.
• Experience in implementing evidence-based practice models and related training materials.
• Valid New Jersey driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Vehicle with current insurance and valid registration.

Responsibilities

• Work a rotating 1st and 3rd monthly Saturday schedule.
• Travel between all three counties served by the Hub; reliable transportation required.
• Assist in programmatic data collection, reporting, and evaluation of services to the target population.
• Create live groups and webinars for tier 1 services; participate in community events.

Location:Warren/Hunterdon/Somerset Counties, NJ

Job Type/Status:Monday - Friday, 35 total hours/week

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with consultants, school districts, and community service providers to facilitate training, workshops, webinars, assemblies, etc.
• Ability to work a rotating 1st and 3rd monthly Saturday schedule.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel between all three counties that the Hub services.
• Assist in the programmatic data collection, reporting, continuous quality improvement processes and evaluation of services to the target population.
• Reviewing and utilizing Evidence Based Practice material to create tier 1, and tier 2 presentations and workshops.
• Create live groups, webinars, for tier 1 services
• Participate in assembly style, and community events.
• There is the ability to work a hybrid schedule, if the Prevention Consultant is conducting a workshop at a school or community location closer to their home the Prevention Consultant can start their day from home. There is the ability to work remotely 2 days per week. This will be determined by the needs of the program. If program needs change the Prevention Consultant will be required to work in the office.
• Completion of hybrid work tracker on remote working days.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services related field, experience in the provision of prevention related programs.
  • Applicants who do not possess the required education may substitute additional experience as indicated on a year-for-year basis with thirty (30) semester hour credits being equal to one (1) year of experience.
• Minimum three years' experience working in non-profit, social service environments in development or implementation of community-based services, prevention programs, or any other human service programs.
• Experience in implementing evidence-based practice models and other materials related to training, coaching according to policies and procedures.
• Valid New Jersey driver's license, safe driving record.
• Vehicle with current insurance and valid registration.
