Job summary

WestCare Foundation in Chicago, IL is seeking a Project Coordinator/Prevention Facilitator to lead the Drug-Free Communities coalition and youth engagement initiatives. You will coordinate meetings, recruit members across twelve sectors, and support prevention campaigns and community outreach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, social work or related field.
• Minimum one year of experience in human services.
• Experience facilitating groups or trainings.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects and partnerships.
• Bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate monthly coalition meetings and committees.
• Recruit and retain coalition members across DFC sectors.
• Maintain records and onboarding for new members.
• Develop and implement coalition strategic and action plans.
• Facilitate communication among partners and youth advisory council.
• Coordinate community prevention activities and events.
• Support data collection, evaluation, and reporting efforts.
• Provide referrals to prevention, treatment, and support services.
