Job description

Scope of Work:

Perform maintenance and inspection of construction and mining equipment, engines, or other assets as assigned. Maintenance should be performed according to each manufacturer's recommended schedule. Dispose of waste oils, fluids, and filters in accordance with State and Company regulations. Assist senior PM Technicians as required and observe closely to gain knowledge.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance on construction equipment.
• Complete service reports, time cards, and other paperwork legibly and clearly.
• Ensure all tasks are completed proficiently and safely.
• Clean the work site after each job.
• Participate in service schools and training programs offered by the company.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in preventative maintenance or a similar role.
• Mechanical aptitude.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Understanding of the position's relation to overall business objectives.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record per WPI insurance.
• Ability to pass and maintain drug and alcohol testing as per Department of Transportation requirements.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform bending and twisting movements multiple times daily.
• Ability to operate and test equipment safely and effectively.

Working Conditions:

• Typical hours: Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• Weekend work as necessary.
• Possible work in adverse weather or hazardous environments.
• Possible temporary adjustments to working hours based on work requirements.
