Job summary

Heidelberg Materials Southeast Agg LLC is seeking a field-based maintenance technician to service mobile equipment across Wake Forest and surrounding sites. You will perform preventive maintenance, inspect equipment, and complete scheduled PMs in a variety of operating conditions.

The role requires diagnosing mechanical issues, using established procedures, and documenting activities. You will work independently, uphold safety and quality, and communicate status to site leaders.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform preventive maintenance on mobile equipment across multiple locations to ensure safe and reliable operations
• Travel between assigned sites to inspect equipment, identify maintenance needs, and complete scheduled PMs
• Diagnose mechanical issues and complete repairs using established procedures and tooling
• Accurately document maintenance activities and communicate equipment status with site and maintenance leaders
• Uphold safety, environmental, and operational standards while working independently in the field

Conditions of Employment

Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Work Environment: Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
