Job summary

Rehrig Pacific is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician in Petersburg, VA. You will own the Upkeep system, track work orders, schedule repairs, and manage parts to keep forklifts, conveyors, and dock doors running smoothly.

You will lead inspections, perform repairs, and installations while maintaining a safe, clean, and production-ready plant. Strong welding, fabrication, and preventive maintenance experience are required, with travel up to 10% welcomed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong mechanical skills with forklifts, conveyors, dock doors, and more.
• Welding and metal fabrication expertise.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and safety practices.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Great communication skills and a team-first attitude.
• Knowledge of LEAN and 5S practices is a plus.
• Tech-savvy with MS Word, Excel, and web-based systems.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% when needed.

• Collaborate and innovate: Work with leadership on LEAN improvements and special projects.
• Operate forklifts: Safely and efficiently (well train and certify you!).

Shift Details: Tuesday-Friday 3:30pm-2:00am Pay: $30-34/hour depending on experience
