Job summary

RSI Texas, LLC is seeking an entry-level Refrigeration Maintenance Technician to join our team in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. You will perform preventative maintenance on commercial refrigeration equipment, including ice machines, and operate hand and power tools in a safe, efficient manner.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma or equivalent, HVAC/R training or related education, and EPA certification. A valid driver’s license and drug/background screening are also required.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance on commercial refrigeration equipment and ice machines including cleaning and replacing filters.

• Drive a commercial vehicle safely and adhere to company safety requirements.
• Work on-call nights and weekends when assigned.
• Communicate effectively with customers and work independently under pressure.

Responsibilities Include:

• Provide maintenance such as cleaning, replacing filters, and more on commercial refrigeration equipment and ice machines.
• Operate hand tools and power tools.
• Operate a commercial vehicle and trailer in a safe manner and adhere to all company safety requirements.
• Work on-call nights and weekends when assigned.
• Effectively communicate with the customer, and work independently under pressure, and without close supervision.

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• HVAC/R training or related education may be considered.
• Must be EPA certified.
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Successful completion of drug screen and criminal background screening
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record

Physical Requirements:

• Exert up to 150 pounds of force (pulling, pushing, lifting, carrying, etc.) regularly and up to 50-75 pounds of force frequently without assistance.
• Climb and work from 8ft ladder, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, stand, walk, twist, grasp to perform essential job functions.
• Tolerate environmental conditions consisting of extreme heat, cold, noise, vibration, fumes, dust, and poor ventilation.
