Job summary

7-Eleven is hiring Preventative Maintenance Technician I to keep our stores running smoothly across Texas. You’ll respond to work orders for minor repairs to equipment, replace plug-and-play components, and ensure HVAC and other systems operate reliably in a fast-paced retail environment.

Your everyday work supports safety and customer service at our locations. This role includes a sign-on bonus up to $3,000, comprehensive medical/dental/vision and life insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Skills: leadership, effective communication, project assignments, and owning facility location responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Respond to work orders for minor repairs to equipment (hoses, nozzles, fuel filters, HVAC filters, etc.).
• Replace 'plug and play' components and manage parts inventory.
• Read, understand, and follow service manual guidelines.
• Work safely and handle other duties as assigned.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Respond to work orders for minor repairs to equipment (hoses, nozzles, fuel filters, HVAC filters, etc.), replacing 'plug and play' equipment
• Ordering/manage parts inventory, complete daily reports, and schedule/prioritize assignments to ensure efficiency
• Read, understand, and follow service manual guidelines
• Work safely and handle other duties as assigned

What You Bring to the Table:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Valid Driver's License
• Skills: Show leadership and effective communications, project/stretch assignments, and facility location ownership
