Job summary

7-Eleven, Inc. is hiring a Preventative Maintenance Technician I to join our team and keep our stores running smoothly. You will respond to work orders for equipment repairs, manage parts inventory, and prioritize tasks to maintain efficiency.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Demonstrate leadership and effective communications; ability to handle stretch projects and site ownership.

Responsibilities

• Respond to work orders for minor repairs to equipment (hoses, nozzles, fuel filters, HVAC filters, etc.).
• Order/manage parts inventory, complete daily reports, and prioritize assignments for efficiency.
• Read, understand, and follow service manuals and guidelines.
• Work safely and perform other duties as assigned.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Respond to work orders for minor repairs to equipment (hoses, nozzles, fuel filters, HVAC filters, etc.), replacing ‘plug and play’ equipment
• Ordering/manage parts inventory, complete daily reports, and schedule/prioritize assignments to ensure efficiency
• Read, understand, and follow service manual guidelines
• Work safely and handle other duties as assigned

What You Bring to the Table:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Valid Driver’s License
• Skills: Show leadership and effective communications, project/stretch assignments, and facility location ownership
