Job summary

Uptown Rental Properties in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Technician to keep our communities in great shape and deliver a positive resident experience. You’ll spend most of your day completing preventive tasks and identifying issues before they escalate.

You will handle basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, inspections, and general maintenance, document work orders, coordinate with other techs and vendors, and participate in a scheduled after-hours on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Experience in preventative maintenance or facilities upkeep.
• Ability to read maintenance manuals and follow safety procedures.
• Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication with residents and teams.

Responsibilities

• Complete preventative maintenance work orders throughout our properties.
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, inspections, and general maintenance.
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues and determine the best solution.
• Keep residents and property teams updated on the status of work.
• Order or pick up materials needed to complete jobs.
• Document and update work orders in our maintenance system.
• Work with other technicians and outside vendors when additional help is needed.
• Properly care for company vehicles, tools, equipment, and other resources.
• Participate in a scheduled after-hours on-call rotation for emergency maintenance.

Do you like working independently, solving problems, and keeping buildings running the way they should? Uptown Rental Properties is looking for a Preventative Maintenance Technician to help keep our communities in great shape and provide a great experience for our residents.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you’ll spend most of your day completing preventative maintenance work and helping identify issues before they become bigger problems.

You will:

• Complete preventative maintenance work orders throughout our properties
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, inspections, and general maintenance
