Electronic Systems, Inc. in Sioux Falls, SD, is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Technician for a full-time, on-site role. You will perform preventative maintenance on production equipment, help ensure machinery is clean, inspected, and ready to support manufacturing daily.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn manufacturing equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Ability to work independently with self-motivation.
• Strong organizational skills and dependable attendance.
• Read and follow established procedures and safety standards.
• Experience with manufacturing equipment maintenance or hands-on technical work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment and related accessories
• Maintain SMT equipment, conveyors, reflow ovens, wave solder equipment, ventilation systems, tooling, and production computers
• Vacuuming loose electronic components and debris from equipment
• Assisting with feeder repairs, calibrations, and equipment setup
• Maintaining ultrasonic cleaning systems and batch wash equipment
• Replacing filters, cleaning tanks, and maintaining equipment support systems
• Identifying potential equipment issues before they impact production
• Supporting preventative maintenance tracking and documentation
• Operating floor maintenance equipment to maintain a safe manufacturing environment
• Working closely with Production and Engineering to help maximize equipment readiness and uptime
• Performing other production support duties as assigned
