  • Perform basic electrical troubleshooting on sensors, motors, switches, and relays.
  • Support TPM, Kaizen, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Maintain clean, organized work areas and comply with safety policies.

Job description

Brief Description
  • Execute scheduled preventive and predictive maintenance activities on manufacturing equipment and plant support systems.
  • Perform inspections, lubrication, adjustments, cleaning, alignment checks, condition monitoring, and component replacement.
  • Identify abnormal equipment conditions and initiate corrective actions before failures occur.
  • Accurately document maintenance findings, repairs, and recommendations.
  • Replace, rebuild, and install mechanical components such as bearings, motors, gearboxes, chains, sprockets, valves, cylinders, and drive systems.
  • Support root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.
  • Utilities & Facility Support Systems
  • Maintain and repair plant utility systems including compressed air systems, pumping systems, ventilation equipment, water distribution systems, tanks, filters, and other infrastructure supporting production operations.
  • Fabrication & Technical Support
  • Perform basic welding, cutting, fabrication, and equipment modifications to support maintenance repairs and continuous improvement projects.
  • Assist with installation, relocation, commissioning, and upgrade of equipment and manufacturing systems.
  • Perform basic industrial electrical troubleshooting including sensors, motors, switches, relays, and control devices.
  • Follow all company safety procedures, GMP requirements, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) standards, and environmental policies.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas.
  • Participate in TPM, reliability initiatives, Kaizen activities, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Promote safe work practices and proactively identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and maintainability.
  • Effectively perform machine operator duties on any machine, filling in as needed and during breaks.
  • May be asked to record KPI (Key Performance Indicators) metrics.
  • Other Duties as required

Requirements
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
  • Prior work experience in maintenance or related field.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, talk, and hear. Frequently required to use hands, fingers, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • Employees must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Must have good attendance, be a team player, and be able to work overtime as required.
  • Ability to multitask in fast paced warehouse environment.
  • Ability to work standing for extended periods.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions.

Working Environment
  • Safety glasses, hearing protection, harness, beard cover and steel-toed shoes are required.
  • In addition, task specific PPE may be required.
