Job summary

Miraval Austin Resort and Spa, part of Hyatt Hotels Corporation, seeks a Preventative Maintenance Engineer to keep guest areas, rooms, and systems safe and guest-ready. You’ll perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, refrigeration, laundry, and related equipment with a focus on reliability.

Requires at least one year in building maintenance, strong communication, and a valid driver’s license. Hotel experience is preferred.

Qualifications

Minimum one year of building maintenance experience (hotel experience preferred).
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Valid driver’s license.
Open availability, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

Operate, maintain, and repair hotel equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, ice machines, refrigerators, laundry equipment, and related systems.
Monitor energy-conservation efforts and optimize performance.
Repair or troubleshoot laundry equipment and other small equipment as needed.
Respond to work orders and guest requests in a timely, professional manner.
Maintain a safe working environment and document tasks in the work-order system.
Support engineering leadership with special projects as assigned.
