Job summary

The El Rancho Hotel in Williston, ND is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Engineer to keep facilities and equipment in peak condition. You’ll handle repairs across trades—from carpentry to plumbing—and assist guests while responding to work orders. Safety and efficiency are your superpowers in a dynamic hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel maintenance is preferred
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Licensed in a trade preferred (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.)
• Must have a valid driver’s license for the applicable state (property specific)
• Must have an acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Driving Record) (property specific)

Responsibilities

• Fix-It Pro: preventative maintenance including bulbs, patches, paint, furniture and tile repairs
• Equipment Whisperer: repairs and tune-ups for ice machines, refrigerators, kitchen gadgets, laundry gear, HVAC, pool and hot tub
• Safety Hero: respond to alarms, investigate causes and report to Front Desk
• Trusted Access: access to safes, master keys, storage rooms and secured files with integrity
• Guest Connection: interact with guests and colleagues, represent the company professionally and drive safely when needed
