Job summary

PTC Liberty Tubulars LLC is seeking a Preventive Maintenance Tech to keep critical machinery running reliably at our manufacturing site. You will monitor fluids, temperatures, and performance indicators, and coordinate with operators to address issues quickly.

The role requires a basic electrical/mechanical background, 1+ years in a mechanically or electrically oriented role, and comfort using office software and ERP systems. On-site work with shift flexibility is expected.

Qualifications

• Mathematical skills: basic arithmetic, ratios, percent, graphs.
• Reasoning ability: follow instructions and solve problems with variables.

Responsibilities

• Check and record fluid levels, cleanliness, and temperatures of coolants and oils.
• Identify early warning signs of equipment failure from data, noises, or smells.
• Use data gathering tools like temperature guns, multimeters, ammeters.
• Communicate with operators to gather reliability feedback and report needs.
• Suggest changes to maintain equipment reliability and performance.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks: add fluids, change filters, purge/bleed systems.
• Coordinate with maintenance team on additional actions for reliability.

Job Description:

Preventive Maintenance Techs are responsible for performing tasks on machinery and equipment to promote consistent and reliable operation of key components.

Responsibilities:

- Check and record fluid levels, cleanliness, and temperatures of various coolants, oils as required

- Identify early warning signs of potential equipment failure (unusual data readings, noises, sounds, smells, other indicators)

- Use basic monitoring tools to gather data from equipment (temperature guns, multimeters, ammeters, etc.)

- Communicate with equipment operators to gather feedback on machine reliability and performance

- Suggest changes and improvements to be made to maintain equipment reliability and performance

- Perform basic maintenance tasks as directed (bolt on/off (piping, valves, etc.) adding fluids, changing filters, purging/bleeding systems)

- Communicating with operators and maintenance team regarding additional actions needed to promote equipment reliability

- Assist maintenance team with projects/repairs as needed

Qualifications

Minimum Education and/or Experience Requirements:

Education: High School or equivalent. Basic knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical equipment

Years of Experience: 1+ in mechanically or electrically oriented role (preferably industrial)
