Job summary

LA Solar Group Inc. is seeking skilled Solar Installers to support residential and small commercial projects on public works sites in the Los Angeles area. You will install PV systems, mountings, and racking while following plans and safety rules.

The role requires construction experience, basic electrical skills, and the ability to work with field leads. Prevailing wage and overtime opportunities are provided, along with a path for advancement and benefits.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum two years of construction experience, incl. one year in solar installation.
Experience wiring up to 600 VDC and 480 VAC.
Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
State electrical certification/license preferred.
Ability to lead teams of 3-5 and work under a foreman.

Responsibilities

Install solar PV systems, mounting hardware, and racking on commercial/public works sites.
Run and terminate conduit, wiring, and electrical connections per code and project specs.
Follow OSHA safety standards and site-specific safety plans.
Work from blueprints/plans and coordinate with crew leads and inspectors.
Accurately report hours and work performed for certified payroll compliance.
