Job summary

Lancaster County is seeking a Supervisory position for Pretrial Services within Adult Probation and Parole Services. The role oversees all pretrial operations, including investigations, intake, supervision, monitoring, and reporting to the Court.

You will manage staff, ensure compliance, and support complex DUI-related activities. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least two years in pretrial services with supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in psychology, social work, criminal justice or closely related field.
• Two years of experience in pretrial services, probation/parole, corrections, or related field; supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pretrial operations, investigations, intake, supervision, compliance monitoring, DUI Repeat Offender Program duties, electronic/alcohol monitoring, and violation processing.
• Ensure consistent application of pretrial procedures, staff performance, and reporting to Court; supervise defendants released pending disposition.
• Review monitoring equipment installation and documentation; approve for payment to vendors.
• Provide guidance on complex cases, maintain accurate case records, and generate statistical reports for committees.
• Assist in developing and implementing pretrial policies and monitoring protocols; coordinate with courts, law enforcement, treatment providers, and monitoring vendors.
