Job summary

Sarasota County Government is seeking a Pretrial Services Supervision Unit Supervisor in Sarasota County. The role leads day-to-day operations, including team leadership, program oversight, data analysis, and evaluation of outcomes related to court appearance, public safety, and compliance with court-ordered conditions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business, Finance, Industrial/Engineering Technology or related field with two years of related experience.
• OR: Six years of professional experience can substitute for the required education.
• OR: Related professional program/project management may substitute for the required education.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, assign, and evaluate Pretrial Services staff, supporting training, development, recruitment, and onboarding.
• Monitor case management activities through regular audits and reviews for compliance with court requirements.
• Analyze data and outcomes to identify trends and opportunities for program improvement.
• Develop and implement program improvements, policies, procedures, and evidence-based practices.
• Ensure compliance with laws, standards, court directives, and CJIS security requirements.
• Collaborate with Court Administration, judiciary, justice partners, and community stakeholders to support goals.
• Prepare and present reports, facilitate training, and communicate program information to leadership and partners.
• Provide operational leadership, including managing escalated client matters and a limited caseload.
