Qualifications

• Associates degree required for consideration.
• Minimum two years’ experience in criminal justice, judicial, or legal systems.
• Must pass FBI clearance and obtain NCIC certification within 60 days of employment and yearly thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial defendant interview within 24 hours of jail booking and gather arrest documents.
• Review defendant case history and risk scores to determine pretrial release eligibility.
• Make pretrial release recommendations with supervision or consult with a judge as needed.
• Supervise defendants on Monitored Release via check-ins and drug testing.
• Ensure adherence to court-ordered programs and community provider requirements.
• Submit detailed written reports to appropriate entities.
• Complete QA reports to maintain state statistics for Pretrial defendants and data issues.
• Engage with community stakeholders (treatment centers, testing agencies) for supervision program needs.
• Attend court sessions and communicate with judges during pretrial processes.
• Prepare affidavits of indigency for the courts.
• Enter data into the PRIM system and travel to counties for meetings and trainings.
