County of Weld seeks a proactive Pretrial Specialist to conduct release risk assessments and manage caseloads for detainees in Weld County Jail and office settings.

You will interview detainees, verify offenses, and prepare detailed reports for Courts and judicial officials. The role includes supervision planning, electronic monitoring coordination, and liaison with community agencies to ensure compliance with release conditions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in sociology, psychology, human services, corrections and/or social sciences or related field.
• 1 year related experience or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Knowledge of Weld County Government and 19th Judicial District practices.
• Familiarity with databases and court-related processes.

Responsabilités

• Assess & Interview Jail Detainees and determine pretrial release suitability and appearance likelihood.
• Conduct in-depth interviews and verify detainee information for release decisions.
• Maintain and update case files, perform data entry and research detainee histories.
• Prepare reports for judicial officers and communicate with court personnel.
• Supervise release conditions and monitor adherence to court orders.
• Assist in court appearances and provide input on release and supervision plans.
