Job summary

New York City Criminal Justice Agency (CJA) is seeking a Data Analyst to support DART's applied research and analytics. You will define study populations, pull and clean data, perform descriptive analyses, and produce tables, visualizations, and dashboards for technical and non-technical audiences.

You will collaborate across CJA to address policy and program questions, ensure quality, and communicate findings with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience with administrative/government/criminal justice data a plus.
• Strong multitasking and collaboration skills.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Define study populations by pulling and cleaning administrative data.
• Conduct descriptive and exploratory analyses and create tables and visualizations.
• Develop dashboards and data tools for diverse audiences.
• Collaborate with DART and other teams to answer research questions.
• Manage tasks, timelines, and ensure reproducibility of analyses.
