Job summary

Community Bible Church seeks a dedicated 4th-5th Grade Ministry Coordinator to support the Director/Pastor in planning weekend worship, small groups, and ministry programming for 4th-5th graders. You will supervise gatherings, recruit and train volunteers, and nurture relationships with families and volunteers.

This full-time role requires strong organizational and communication skills, plus a heart for ministry to preteens. Weekend services and some weekday planning are included.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
3+ years in volunteer development/oversight.
Experience with upper elementary-aged children.

Responsibilities

Plan and support environments for 4th-5th grade ministry during weekend worship and programs.
Supervise Preteen worship gatherings and lead small groups.
Recruit, train and empower volunteers for Preteen ministry.
Maintain ministry spaces, safety, and supplies.
Communicate with families, visitors and other ministries.
Maintain volunteer rosters and schedules; manage data in church database.
Oversee Preteen events and budgets.
Participate in ministry training and growth.
