Job summary

Community Bible Church San Antonio is seeking a 2nd & 3rd Grade Ministry Coordinator to lead weekly ministries and nurture volunteers. You will recruit, train, and empower volunteers, supervise all Kids ministry activities during weekend services, and maintain rosters and family data with attention to safety and order.

You will also collaborate with parents, visitors, and other departments, teaching bible lessons and supporting events like VBS while embracing CBC values and a Christ-centered

Qualifications

2+ years of volunteer development experience.
Experience with elementary-age children.
Strong communication in English (verbal and written).
Ability to supervise and train volunteers.
Christian lifestyle aligned with CBC values.

Responsibilities

Supervise all Kids ministry program during weekend service hours.
Recruit, train, and empower volunteers for the ministry.
Maintain class rosters and family information in the database.
Communicate with visitors, parents, children, and other departments.
Plan and prepare the environment for weekly ministries and events.
Attend staff meetings and train paid staff for the program.
