Job summary

Elliot Health System in Manchester, NH is looking for a Per Diem Registered Nurse to join the Pre-Surgical Testing (PST) team.

As a PST nurse you will assess patients, monitor vitals, administer medications, and educate patients on pre-surgical testing and post-operative care. You will collaborate with surgeons and other care providers to maintain patient safety.

New Hampshire RN license required, BSN preferred; BLS during orientation with ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• New Hampshire Registered Nurse license or Compact state RN license.
• BLS qualification during orientation; ACLS preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition and monitor vital signs before, during, and after surgeries.
• Administer medications and perform wound care as necessary.
• Provide educational resources to patients about pre-surgical testing and post-operative care.
• Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare providers to ensure patient safety.
