Job summary

Morgan & Morgan is seeking an experienced Nursing Home Personal Injury Attorney to join our Cincinnati office. You will handle a heavy caseload from pre-litigation through trial preparation and trial.

Ideal candidates have a law degree, active Ohio bar, 2+ years in personal injury (medical malpractice/nursing home a plus), and strong writing, advocacy, and client service skills. We offer a collaborative environment and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Ohio State Bar in good standing.
• Minimum 2+ years of personal injury experience, preferably in medical malpractice and/or nursing home matters.
• Ability to manage high volume of pre-lit and litigation cases.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day handling of both pre-litigation and litigation cases.
• Drafting and filing of litigation documents to include pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions and memorandum.
• Guide clients through the case process.
• Interaction with expert witnesses to include conferences, drafting of expert reports and affidavits.
• Attendance and preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.

Summary

Morgan & Morgan is looking for an experienced Nursing Home Personal Injury Attorney to join its growing practice in Cincinnati, Ohio. The Nursing Home Attorney will handle a heavy and complex caseload of cases from pre-litigation, litigation, trial prep and trial.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day handling of both pre-litigation and litigation cases
• Drafting and filing of litigation documents to include pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions and memorandum
• Guide clients through the case process
