Job summary

Reading Eye Associates in Reading, MA is seeking a Part-time Optometrist to join our full-service practice with a strong patient base. This one-day-per-week role offers a competitive hourly rate and opportunities to provide comprehensive eye exams, diagnose and treat vision disorders, and manage eye diseases.

The Optometrist will document medical records accurately and collaborate with a healthcare team to maintain high standards of patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include: Strong clinical skills in conducting vision assessments, detecting eye conditions, and prescribing corrective lenses.
• Knowledge of managing common eye diseases and providing therapeutic treatments.
• Excellent patient communication and education skills to explain treatment plans and answer questions.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams and diagnose vision disorders.
• Treat vision disorders and manage eye diseases with prescribed therapies.
