Reading Eye Associates in Reading, MA is seeking an Optometrist for a part-time position (20 hours/week) with no Saturday hours. You’ll perform comprehensive patient care, coding, and coordinate with primary and specialty physicians, supported by a team that handles pre-testing and procedures.

This is a profitable, patient-focused practice offering mentorship, opportunities to learn the business side of optometry, and potential ownership in the future as you grow with the team.

Qualifications

• Optometry license in the state of Massachusetts.
• Demonstrate leadership, communication, interpersonal skills, and compassion for patient health and safety.
• Part time, 20 hours/week with no Saturday hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient care, coding and communicate with primary and specialty care physicians.
• Receive support from staff who perform pre-testing, examination support, and other duties allowing focus on patient care—approximately 60 patients are seen weekly.
• Mentor and lead employees and develop patient communication skills.
• Continuously develop skills through mentorship with experienced doctors and integrate new techniques and innovations that improve patient care and services.
