Job summary

Reading Eye Associates in Reading, MA is seeking a Part-time Optometrist to join our full-service practice with a strong patient base. This one-day-per-week role offers a competitive hourly rate and opportunities to provide comprehensive eye exams, diagnose and treat vision disorders, and manage eye diseases.

The Optometrist will document medical records accurately and collaborate with a healthcare team to maintain high standards of patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include: Strong clinical skills in conducting vision assessments, detecting eye conditions, and prescribing corrective lenses.
• Knowledge of managing common eye diseases and providing therapeutic treatments.
• Excellent patient communication and education skills to explain treatment plans and answer questions.

Option for Monday, Tuesday or Friday 9:30- 5. The Optometrist will perform comprehensive eye exams, diagnose and treat vision disorders, manage eye diseases, and prescribe corrective lenses or treatments. The role includes educating patients on maintaining optimal eye health, working collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals, and maintaining accurate medical records.
