Ulta Beauty in Norwalk, CT seeks a Prestige Beauty Advisor to maximize prestige category sales by engaging guests, assessing needs, and guiding selections of color cosmetics, skincare and fragrance. You will uphold store standards and support the Sales Manager with service, events, and guest experience.

The role requires passion for beauty, excellent guest service, and strong communication. Flexible schedule, product training, and brand education help you stay current with trends and guest needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is preferred
• Cosmetology, esthetician or demonstrator’s license where required by state law
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred
• Demonstrates a passion and significant competency for prestige product, guest service, and selling
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting store goals related to retail and service sales in the prestige category and iconic brands.
• Greet and engage guests, personalize service, and inform guests of promotions, events and services.
• Routinely perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations with guests to drive sales.
• Book appointments for services and support in-store events for an enhanced guest experience.
• Stay informed on trends and product knowledge to better serve guests.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
