Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Prestige Beauty Advisor to maximize sales in the prestige category, engaging guests to determine needs and assisting in selecting prestige cosmetics, skincare, and fragrance while maintaining store standards.

This role supports the Sales Manager with focus on service, guest experience, and events. A passion for beauty, excellent guest service, and product knowledge are essential. 1 year of relevant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is preferred.
• Cosmetology, esthetician or demonstrator’s license where required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store’s goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty and omni-channel sales, with focus on prestige category.
• Greet and engage every guest, personalize service, recommend products, and inform guests of current promotions and events.
• Courteously handle sales, refunds, and exchanges.
• Routinely perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations.
• Book appointments for services and in-store events to deliver an unrivaled guest experience.
• Stay informed on industry trends and product knowledge to better assist guests.
