Job summary

Augusta University in Georgia seeks a dedicated Grounds and Landscaping Support worker to perform outdoor cleaning with hydraulic pressure washing equipment across multiple campuses. You will clean sidewalks, building exteriors, and related surfaces and assist the Grounds Team with light tasks as needed.

Responsibilities include selecting appropriate settings, maintaining equipment, following safety procedures, and coordinating with campus departments to schedule cleaning activities.

Qualifications

• Requires High School diploma or GED and 1 year of experience with pressure washing, exterior cleaning, or facilities work.
• Must have a valid driver’s license to operate vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Pressure wash sidewalks, building exteriors, stairways, entryways, and other outdoor surfaces.
• Assist Grounds Team with minor tasks during inclement weather or low-pressure periods.
• Maintain hoses, nozzles, wands, and chemical injection systems; report equipment issues.
• Follow safety protocols, establish work zones, and ensure pedestrian safety.
