Samuel, Son & Co. is seeking a skilled welder fabricator to fabricate ASME and non-code pressure vessels and related components. The role requires reading blueprints, welding, cutting, gouging, and maintaining safety standards in a fast-paced shop.

The candidate should have a HS diploma or GED and basic computer skills. Experience with GMAW, arc gouging, and flame cutting is preferred for efficient production and quality adherence.

Qualifications

  • Must read blueprints and understand job routings.
  • Basic math and computer literacy required.
  • Able to work in fast-paced environment.
  • Industrial work experience preferred; HS diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to and abide by all plant safety rules and regulations.
  • Perform daily preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Perform daily equipment check lists (IE crane checks, equipment checks).
  • Properly assemble heads, shells, and flanges for circumferential seam welding.
  • Hold necessary weld certifications to fabricate and repair pressure vessels.
  • Be able to perform all kinds of welding, cutting, gouging operations applicable to the company.
